Happy Happy Day. Yay. Special reunion with my besties(Pegan, Shimei,Jiayun and boyfriend, Shirley and boyfriend, Peiwen, Miss Choong, Yong Seing(Keith), Fengming, Alvin Choo, Alvin Tan, Eddie, Daniel Goh, Benjamin Seah, Geryll and Unchi)Yay!
Todae was buzy busy buzy. Helped mum wif food preparations(Collect popiah skin, buy fruits, help dish out the plates, etc etc). And den of-coz welcoming my besties!The busiest and the most exhausted was Mum, as she had to get up early,to prepare for a big cook-out. It simply tired her out. Thank you so so much Mummy dearest. I lurve u. Thanz so much for the yummy yummy yummy food you made.Thank you.
It was simply hilarious to see my besties wrap popiah as they were vague on how to wrap the 'Perfect Popiah'.Mum had to demonstrate.The guys well, didn't exactly grasp the concept.They placed lots of fillings inside the skin, and....hmmz, the wrapping was messy; some even folded it like a 'Bak Zhang', and made do with their creation. Kudos to them? The girles were more persistent and meticulous, their popiah skin was way better den them. KUDOS KUDOS KUDOS.
We had dessert after the main course hehehe. Dessert=Chocolate Fondue with fresh fruits, Muffins, Scones, and of coz Gourmet Coffee(Made by Moi truely), and Tea(Made by Mum).Subsequently, it was games time(Indian Blackjack, etc ,etc). Most importantly,ALCOHOL(Barcardi, Vodka, Red Wine).Heheh, drinking yay! PARTY!GET HIGH! *Not all drank.Some left early as they had something on*
The most hilarious part was..Hehehe. Photo taking! We posed for ultra long time, as lots of people were taking photos of us. We didn't even know which camera to look at.We simply flashed our white pearlies, and well relished the *superstar, model moment*! Some inardvently took photoes without us noticing. So fun man..
I so lurve this gathering so much. Its so hard to find a mutual time for all of my besties to come together, sit down, eat, chit chat, gossip and drink alcohol. Cool lar.U guys rock man. U made me so happy, crazy and well goddamn enjoy myself. Sorry for the pun. I realli relished every single moment of it.
You guys rock man. We'll meet some time soon , next month before I fly. Another gathering, this time in a restaurant. Heheh. Till den.
